Things I Like / Interests

It's probably unfair to refer to these things as brainrot but honestly a lot of these things take up permanent residency in my brain.

Favorite Videogames:

• Paper Mario 64 -- I will NEVER shut up about this game I am so sorry
• Basically every single Supergiant game -- Bastion, Transistor, and Hades are all gems and I can't recommend them enough. Please go play or watch a playthrough of them!
• Celeste -- This game's story was like a punch to the gut in all the right ways. Seriously please play this game it is so good
• Wandersong -- The entire game feels like a warm hug but it also kinda hits me in the feels. I think I actually cried during the ending
• OneShot -- Another game that hits me emotionally. Niko is a great character and I care them
• Super Mario Odyssey -- I don't know how they did it, but they actually found the perfect movement system for a 3D platformer. It feels so SMOOTH
• Terraria -- Another game that perfected its genre, it's basically a metroidvania combined with an open world game and the combat system is fantastic
• Puyo Puyo Tetris -- I like Puyo Puyo's characters and I like Tetris, so this is sortof a given to have on the list
• Portal 2 -- A classic, really. The humor is top-notch and the puzzles are very good
• All of the classic Sonic games -- The physics system used for the original Sonic games is so satisfying and is actually a major inspiration for my own game's movement mechanics!

Favorite Music:

• Sonic Advance 2 OST -- This soundtrack is a freaking BOP oh my god it's amazing
• Sonic 2006 OST -- The game wasn't great but the soundtrack is full of certified bangers. Honestly just listen to any music made for a Sonic game because it is almost always very good
• Sanctuary RPG: Black Edition OST -- This soundtrack has such an amazing mixture of real instruments and synths and it is a major inspiration for the music that I write
• Paper Mario: Sticker Star OST -- Ya like jazz? Because I do
• Splatoon 1&2's OSTs -- Hecking superb you funky little cephalopod
• Celeste OST / Celeste: Farewell OST / Celeste: B-sides OST -- I hope you like feeling emotions!
• Mother Falcon -- Surprisingly enough, I actually do listen to more than just videogame soundtracks. This band is really good and my favorite song from them is Sleep
• Bill Wurtz -- A lot of the songs feel cheesy but I like them
• Pollyanna by Catherine Warwick -- This song... my god it makes me feel a lot of emotions and even if it's cheesy it is still one of my favorite songs of all time
